Our semester begins with a discussion about journalism and media careers with journalist Sheryl McCarthy.  McCarthy has been a reporter for The Boston Globe, The New York Daily News, and and New York Newsday. She was a television correspondent for ABC News. Formerly a professor of Journalism and Faculty Advisor for The Knight News, McCarthy returns to talk news with students interested in careers in journalism and media.  This seminar is co-presented by the Knight News Visiting Journalist Series and the Queens Podcast Lab Learning Series.
